Dosage takes place after disgorgement, when a liqueur composed of wine and a small amount of sugar is added to the bottle. This final gesture fine-tunes the balance between freshness, tension, and roundness. A low dosage highlights minerality; a slightly higher dosage softens the wine and adds generosity. At Collet, dosage is carefully calibrated to enhance the personality of each cuvée, never to mask its identity.
