In 1921, they founded the first independent growers’ house, built on craftsmanship, authenticity, and respect for the terroir.

In the wake of the Great War, Champagne rose from the ashes and reinvented itself. A group of visionary winegrowers chose to reclaim their destiny and shape the future of their region.
Once suppliers to the great Champagne houses, they made a bold decision: to unite and craft their own wines — driven by the belief that Champagne should be created and celebrated by those who cultivate its vineyards.

For more than a century, Champagne Collet has carried forward this pioneering vision — a Champagne crafted by its winegrowers, born from independence, strengthened by cooperation, and perfected through excellence.

Since its creation, Maison Collet has been built upon a unique cooperative model: the winegrowers themselves are its owners.
While they are not directly involved in the vinification of the cuvées, they are the true artisans of the vineyard, carefully producing the grapes that form the foundation of every Collet champagne.
Vinification, blending and ageing are entrusted to the House’s expert teams, guarantors of consistency and style.

In the heart of Aÿ, Villa Collet embodies the soul of the House. Steeped in history, this emblematic residence is both a witness to the origins of Champagne Collet and a vibrant place of culture, sharing and gastronomy.
Within this characterful setting, the French art de vivre is celebrated through convivial encounters and the elegance of food and Champagne pairings.
